Job summary

Li & Fung in Chicago is seeking a Freelance Associate Merchandiser for the Miles Hard Goods Division to support customer relationships and drive the product lifecycle from order placement through delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, sales support, or a related customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day merchandising operations, including order entry, tracking, and communication with customers and overseas teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of purchase orders, production schedules, and customer requirements.
• Partner with the Miles team to ensure orders are delivered on time and in line with quality and compliance standards.
• Manage artwork timelines and coordinate commercial packaging requirements with overseas offices and customers.
• Assist in preparing product specifications, pricing forms, and supporting the tender process.
• Coordinate the distribution, approval, and tracking of product samples between factories and customers.
• Provide consistent, high-level customer service and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and follow-up.

The Freelance Associate Merchandiser for the Miles Hard Goods Division plays a key role in supporting customer relationships and driving the product lifecycle from order placement through delivery. Compensation and Benefits

The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00 per hour. The offered hourly rate will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
