Job description

Catbird is looking for an Associate Merchandiser to provide key support on all systems, reporting and processes involving the Merchandising and Planning team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a demanding and wide range of projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This position is full-time and hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems: Product Catalogue, Order Management, Demand Planning, Receiving and Stock Management.
  • Manage product catalogue. Work with PD and Merchandising team to create SKUs and update SKU attributes as necessary in our catalogue and Ecommerce platform. Manage lead times and product stock status on our website. Work with Merchandising and Ecommerce teams to develop custom, complex site listings as we launch products requiring different treatments online.
  • Serve as team expert on Merchandising related functions in the above systems, working cross departmentally to refine and communicate best practices. Troubleshoot where possible, follow up on external support tickets as required. Attend workshops and training on new systems/processes, and lead team training.
  • Serve as team representative at all meetings on system upgrades and implementations. Communicate Merchandising team needs and report back regarding progress and roadblocks. Work with the team and across departments to develop solutions as necessary.
  • Reporting
  • Work with SVP of Merchandising/Planning, and department heads as necessary, to create reports.
  • Update dashboards (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) and manage/update auto-generated reports as needed.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Operations/Investigations-Analysis (Ad Hoc)
  • Support cross-departmental process roll-outs. Act as team representative at meetings, communicating team needs and reporting back re progress and roadblocks.
  • Ad-hoc investigations and analysis as necessary.

  • Adept at learning new platforms and systems. Excel and Google Sheets proficiency required
