Qualifications

• 3+ years of merchandise planning or retail buying experience.
• Retail math knowledge preferred.
• Product knowledge of apparel and related merchandise.
• Strong MS Office, Outlook & Internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Planner/Senior Planner in pre-season plans across multiple channels.
• Review in-season product trends with Omni-Merchants to adjust plans for higher sales and profitability.
• Partner with Planner/Senior Planner to present monthly revisions of merchandise plans to executives.
• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities; review performance.
• Develop item plans within their department.
• Forecast effects of markdowns on sales rates and profitability.
• Participate in MPC, Monday Merchandise Meetings and related planning sessions.
• Provide fiscal control through management of markdowns and purchase orders.
• Develop knowledge of Omni-Planning tools and build item-level plans to support top goals.
• Enhance knowledge of data resources and merchandise under planning.
• Support team projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
