You will develop and maintain sales and margin plans aligned to financial targets, collaborate with planning teams and merchants, analyze trends, and support the season\'s merchandising strategies from pre-season to in-season adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of merchandise planning experience, preferably in specialty retail or retail buying.
• Retail math knowledge preferred.
• Product knowledge of apparel and related merchandise.
• High proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work within a team.
• Ability to influence peers and senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Planner/Senior Planner in preparing pre-season plans across multiple channels aligned with top-down goals.
• Review in-season product trends with Omni-Merchants to revise the plan for maximum sales and profitability.
• Present monthly revisions of merchandise plans to Merchandise/Inventory Planning executives.
• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop item plans within the department as needed.
• Forecast effects of markdowns on sales and profitability.
• Participate in all Merchandise Planning department meetings.
• Manage markdowns and purchase orders to maintain fiscal control.
• Build plans at item level using Omni-Planning tools to support top-level goals.
• Enhance knowledge of data resources and merchandise understanding for plan development.
• Support team projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
