Job summary

Skill is seeking a talented designer for a temporary assignment to support on-demand merchandise. You will help maintain brand integrity, manage design submissions, and assist the design manager on product design and approvals.

You will participate in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to approval, ensuring high-quality design execution and compelling storytelling for consumer products. This is an entry-level role with training in a world-class creative environment.

Qualifications

  • A design degree or equivalent background.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience or entry-level standing.
  • Demonstrated strong design sense and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Mac applications, including Keynote.

Responsibilities

  • Execute product approvals for on-demand merchandise and print-on-demand items through online systems and collaborative meetings.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in design execution, maintaining strong brand integrity, in-depth storytelling, and optimal use of color, material, form, and function.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the design manager on product design and approval processes.
  • Manage product submissions for creative reviews and approvals within an online system.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive product and market sample collections.
  • Build and nurture relationships with external and internal partners, overseeing all creative aspects of product development.
  • Effectively multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects to meet established deadlines.

  • A focus on 2D concept designs and understanding of production stages.
  • Knowledge of franchise expertise.
  • An understanding of materials and textiles.
