Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a design-focused professional to craft templates and visual content for productivity tools. You will shape templates across presentations, documents, and workbooks, ensuring accessibility and clarity. You will collaborate across teams to implement feedback and maintain consistency.

The role emphasizes strong typography, layout skills, and the use of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with awareness of AI content generation tools to support innovative experiments.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of graphic design experience with a portfolio showing layout, typography, and visual design.
  • Experience designing content for presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong understanding of template design, layout, and workbook formatting.
  • Proficiency with presentation, document, and spreadsheet suites.
  • Experience with Figma and Adobe CC and AI content tools.
  • Ability to follow briefs and apply feedback efficiently.
  • Strong visual, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with quality and consistency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-quality templates for presentations, documents and workbooks.
  • Create layouts, visual systems, and reusable components for varied customer scenarios.
  • Apply design judgment to ensure templates are clear, accessible, and customizable.
  • Format files for consistency: typography, spacing, alignment, color, imagery, tables and hierarchy.
  • Translate briefs into practical template designs and content requirements.
  • Support template production workflows by editing and quality-checking files.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and product partners to improve quality.
  • Maintain file structure, usability, accessibility, and cross‑platform quality.

What You'll Do
  • Design and build high-quality templates for presentations, documents, and workbooks.
  • Create layouts, visual systems, and reusable design components that support a wide range of customer scenarios.
  • Apply strong design judgment to ensure every template is clear, polished, accessible, and easy to customize.
  • Format and refine files for consistency, including typography, spacing, alignment, color, imagery, tables, charts, and content hierarchy.
  • Translate creative briefs and content requirements into practical, customer-ready template designs.
  • Support template production workflows by creating, editing, and quality-checking files across common office applications.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and product partners to incorporate feedback and improve template quality.
  • Maintain strong attention to file structure, usability, accessibility, and cross-platform presentation quality.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of graphic design experience with a graphic design portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, composition, and visual design skills.
  • Experience designing professional content in presentation, document, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong understanding of template design, presentation design, document layout, and workbook formatting.
  • Proficiency with common office productivity suites, especially presentation, document, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud and demonstrated experience using AI content generation tools.
  • Ability to follow creative direction, interpret briefs, and apply feedback efficiently.
  • Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience creating customer-facing templates or business content for broad audiences.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Experience designing within established brand systems or design guidelines.
  • Strong production-design discipline, including file cleanup, formatting precision, and quality control.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and feedback loops.
Compensation Range

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30/hr - $33/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
