Job summary

We Care Daily Clinics in Auburn, WA, seeks an Associate Medical Director to support the Medical Director in clinical and administrative leadership of our opioid treatment program (OTP). You will oversee MOUD and related care, supervise non‑physician clinicians, mentor learners, and help ensure evidence‑based, compliant service delivery across the team.

This role requires collaboration with the clinic administrator and site leadership to sustain high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with full and unrestricted WA medical license.
• Active DEA license and board certification in a relevant specialty (addiction credentials preferred).
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment and MOUD in OTP settings.
• Strong leadership, teaching ability, and collaborative skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Medical Director in overseeing medical care of patients, including MOUD and related conditions.
• Provide clinical oversight to non-physician providers, nurses, and medical assistants.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of medical learners (fellows, residents, students).
• Collaborate to implement evidence-based treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Support development and review of clinical policies under supervision of the Medical Director.
• Assist with regulatory tasks and ensure compliance with standards and surveys.
• Work with leadership to maintain effective treatment and service delivery across sites.
