Description

The Associate Media Director, Programmatic, supports our omnichannel programmatic strategy and execution within Syneos Health, collaborating with agency teams to promote the role of omnichannel programmatic in pharmaceutical media planning. This role involves working with Data Science to optimize data usage for client ROI, targeting healthcare audiences such as Physicians, Nurses, Specialists, Patients, and Caregivers. Key responsibilities include campaign management, partnership development with database services, DSP providers, and media partners, and leading trading and ad operations in a hands-on environment.

Core Responsibilities
Omnichannel Programmatic Media Strategy
  • Provide recommendations on channel mix and consideration set development
  • Enhance and scale our offerings
  • Collaborate on new business opportunities and pitches
  • Lead media collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build relationships with client and agency brand teams to integrate media into holistic strategies
  • Share best practices for campaign management and reporting
  • Communicate trends and POVs regularly
  • Support trading and ad operations processes
Media Planning
  • Create presentations for stakeholders
  • Develop and present media recommendations with partners
  • Work with data science to develop measurement plans
  • Own campaign KPIs and success metrics
Media Consulting
  • Deliver media strategy consultancy
  • Coordinate between the media team and third-party agencies to align strategies and maximize creative potential
Systems & Tools
  • Experience with ad technologies (DMPs like DeepIntent, PulsePoint, Lasso)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • Experience with ad serving, tag management, and operations
  • Knowledge of competitive media tools (Kantar, Pathmatics, comScore)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in programmatic, ad operations, or biddable media
  • Experience with pharmaceutical programmatic campaigns
  • Knowledge of multimedia in programmatic environments
  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience required
  • Additional experience in paid social/search is a plus
  • Strong presentation, organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills
