We’re looking for a media director or associate director with experience developing and implementing media strategy and omni-channel plans. Ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years’ experience in traditional and emerging media.

You’re always studying the ever-evolving digital landscape and how media tactics transform from one quarter to the next, with the ultimate goal of keeping our clients one step ahead, no matter what tomorrow might bring. You enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with younger staff members.

Responsibilities

Note: This is a full-time, onsite role in Des Moines, Iowa.

  • Media Strategy Development: Developing and implementing media strategies based on client objectives and goals.
  • Campaign Planning: Creating and managing media campaigns across various channels, including digital, traditional, and out-of-home.
  • Media Buying: Negotiating and purchasing media space and time.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance to identify areas for optimization.
  • Client Communication: Maintaining strong client relationships and communicating media strategies and plans effectively.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Staying Current: Keeping up with industry trends, media technology, and best practices.
  • Maintain program skills: Stay current on certifications and knowledge related to the performance of daily job functions: Strata, Microsoft, Google and others as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically and offer valuable insight on media execution as it applies to achievement of client goals.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
  • Experience managing and mentoring young talent in buying, planning and negotiating
  • Other duties as directed
