Job summary

Mi-Jack Products seeks an Associate Mechanical Engineer- Structures to support design, development, analysis, testing, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies. You will work under senior staff to develop technical skills while contributing to product development, sustaining engineering, cost reduction, and manufacturing support.

The role involves basic engineering calculations, prototype testing, and participation in quality and standardization initiatives, with up to 20%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• Internship/Co-op or practical engineering experience preferred
• Strong CAD and documentation skills helpful

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
• Create and revise engineering drawings, models, and documentation using CAD software.
• Support ECNs, design releases, and configuration management processes.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses for product design.
• Assist with prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Participate in product improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement, and standardization initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support development and production.
