Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Associate Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer for its Aeronautics Systems Sector in Oklahoma City, OK. The role supports the Product Support organization, focusing on research, design and development of mechanical systems used in energy transmission and conversion. Clearances and citizenship are prerequisites.

Essential qualifications include STEM degrees, and potential start requires U.S. Government security clearance with program access.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Program Special access within a reasonable period of time.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines and machines.
• Apply research to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines and/or machines.
