Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. in Alameda, CA seeks an Associate Marketing Manager to support fellowship and society engagement across the US and Canada. You will collaborate with fellows, KOLs, sales teams, medical societies, and internal partners to drive impactful programs and resources.

You will foster relationships with speakers, help manage program materials and timelines, and ensure activities comply with guidelines. The role requires travel and strong teamwork within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of progressively responsible experience managing various facets of field-based marketing programs in the medical device field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or sales experience.
• Experience developing and executing strategic customer initiatives and growth plans.
• Skills and Knowledge: Sales, marketing, and/or medical education experience
• Strong team player who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team-based environment.
• Ability to speak up when vital information or questions must be raised and take action when issues must be addressed.
• Strong thinker and creative thinker who is intellectually curious. Sound decision making capabilities.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
• Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, clinical, global marketing team, and sales partners.

Responsibilities

• Support fellows initiatives and society programs.
• Develop national and local fellows programs aligned to US/Canada goals.
• Coordinate program materials, events, and communications.
• Anticipate customer needs; align with educational and business needs.
• Learn neuro product lines; support goals with marketing and sales.
• Build relationships with speakers and key opinion leaders.
• Represent company at society events and support marketing/events team.
• Collect and maintain contacts from educational programs and society events.
• Uphold fellows program values with consistent communications and improvements.
• Support field with customer-facing activities and field presence.
• Support global marketing activities for regional sales and marketing teams.
• Collect and share intelligence with global marketing on relevant programs.
• Ensure marketing activities conform to guidelines and local laws.
• Adhere to QMS and regulatory standards.
• Understand security, privacy, and compliance principles.
• Ensure department members follow regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
