Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Lewiston, ID is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee a product line on swing shift (Mon–Fri 3:00 pm–11:30 pm).

This role leads individual contributors, drives daily operations, and champions World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles. You will mentor teams, set priorities, ensure safe, efficient product flow, update work instructions, and apply root-cause and continuous improvement tools.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee a product line in our Lewiston, ID factory on swing shift (Monday thru Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm). This leader will supervise individual contributors, drive daily operations, and champion World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles. The successful candidate will be action-oriented, resilient, and committed to employee development and operational excellence.As a Manufacturing Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:Modeling SEL Values and Leadership characteristics to employees.Providing clear direction to work group in order to help meet department production objectives.Understanding upstream and downstream work areas in order to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow.Monitoring employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback; empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.Being responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training.Under guidance, actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.Create, update and ensure control of area work instructions and reports.
