Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in New Town, North Dakota. The role supports on-site manufacturing engineering activities within a collaborative team focused on delivering cost-effective, producible designs for aerospace systems.

The candidate should have a STEM degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Qualifications

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by October 2026.
Be majoring in or having majored in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar STEM degree.
Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work 1st shift or 2nd shift (times may vary) and any work schedule.
Liaison Mfg. Eng. Physical Demands: physical requirements to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to Engineering regarding design concepts to ensure the best manufacturing technique is being used.
Define sequence of operations for product builds, investigate and initiate corrective actions and improvements.
Provide liaison support for Engineering definition to influence low production costs for integrated assembly.
Manufacturing Engineers act as the technical representative voice for the Manufacturing organization.
