Job summary

The Wella Company is seeking an Associate Manager for Global eComm & e-Retail Activation & Content, OPI, based in Calabasas, CA. This hybrid role supports OPI.com, eRetail, and Amazon activations and oversees end-to-end content for the brand’s online presence.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver on briefs, optimize content, and drive performance metrics. A background in premium beauty and strong CMS experience are preferred, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-4+ years in e-commerce/digital marketing or retail management with strong content-to-commerce knowledge.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (Shopify) and headless systems (Contentful) is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building, with ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Supports Sr. Manager with OPI.com, eRetail, and PurePlay (Amazon) activation and strategy.
• Manages end-to-end content production for OPI.com and eRetail channels, including PDPs and PLPs, ensuring timely, on-brief delivery.

• Tracks content performance, draws insights, and shares recommendations to optimize KPIs across OPI channels.

Position Summary

As the Associate Manager, Global eComm & e-Retail Activation & Content, OPI, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of OPI’s eComm and eRetail channel activations (including eRetail, PurePlay, and OPI.com), ensuring cohesive execution across all platforms. You will be responsible for supporting and executing customized e-commerce plans tailored to the specific needs and strategies of the OPI brand. This role requires a deep understanding of content strategy and execution, e-commerce best practices, and a keen eye for innovation in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports Sr. Manager with OPI.com, eRetail, and PurePlay (Amazon) activation and strategy
• Manages end-to-end content production for OPI.com, eRetail, and PurePlay (Amazon), including creation of .com web pages (PDPs, PLPs, Blogs, etc.) and merchandising updates based on SEO/AEO best practices. Ensures all deliverables (including digital asset pack deliveries) are on time, aligned to creative briefs and brand guidelines, and properly QA’d before content deployment and go-live
• Leads content-related requests with cross-functional teams, including regular management and updates of the global product range plan, marketing calendars, and creative briefs for a seamless end-to-end workflow. Acts as a service provider in delivering assets for the OPI brand, innovation, and always-on needs for owned channels
• Track channel-level content performance, draw insights, and identify trends to share with cross-functional teams and inform content strategy recommendations for enhancements/optimizations. Including assisting the Sr. Manager with reports based on KPIs (for OPI.com, eRetail & PurePlay (Amazon)) with insights and actions to improve performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-4+ years of experience in e-commerce (with a focus on CARS), digital marketing, or retail management roles, with a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and content-to-commerce strategies. Experience with premium beauty products is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Shopify) and headless commerce systems (e.g., Contentful) is a plus
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira) and analytics tools to track performance metrics and workflows (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills, and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—pay Range: $79,500.00 - $132,500.00 salary per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
