Job summary

Wella Company seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence to partner with the Global Head of eCommerce. The role governs strategy, long-range planning, and JBPs across top accounts and markets to ensure revenue delivery and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, commercial strategy, sales operations, or a governance/commercial-excellence function.

  • Proven track record building commercial frameworks, JBPs, playbooks, or global standards and driving adoption across markets.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills; able to move from raw multi-market data to a clear executive point of view.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; comfortable engaging senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience operating across multiple global markets in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in beauty, CPG, or a fast-moving consumer business is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Global Head of eCommerce to govern delivery of the eCommerce strategy, long-range plan (LRP), and annual operating plan (AOP) across top accounts and priority markets.
  • Establish and run the governance cadence, business reviews, plan-vs-actual tracking, and gap-to-target reviews that keep markets and accounts accountable.
  • Identify at the market and account level where strategy execution or revenue delivery is off-pace, and drive corrective action with market and channel leaders.
  • Champion commercial excellence standards across markets, closing the gap between best-in-class and lagging regions.
  • Build, standardize, and deploy commercial frameworks, including the global JBP framework and standards.
  • Define and roll out global mandates and playbooks, ensuring consistent adoption across regions.
  • Continuously refine frameworks based on in-market learnings, keeping global standards practical and current.
  • Bring together performance data, market intelligence, and account insight into a single, decision-ready view for leadership.
  • Translate complex multi-market performance into clear narratives and materials for senior leadership.
  • Prepare the Global Head of eCommerce for key leadership moments with analysis and framing to drive productive decisions.
  • Act as a connective point across markets, channels, and functions to ensure timely dissemination of information.

We are searching for a Senior Manager, Commercial Excellencewho will partner directly with the Global Head of eCommerce to ensure our strategies, long-rangeplan, and annual operating budget are delivered across our top accounts and markets. This role will govern that the strategy is landing, that the revenue is materializing, and that there is active engagement at the market and account level to surface risks, weak spots, and untapped opportunities early enough to act on them.

Beyond governance, you will build and deploy the frameworks and global mandates, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs), that give our markets a consistent operating standard. You will also serve as a central point of synthesis, pulling together performance intelligence from across regions, channels, and accounts into a single, decision-ready view for the Global Head of eCommerce and senior leadership.

We'relooking for a rigorous operator who is equally comfortable auditing amarket'saccount plan, building a framework from scratch, and translating a mountain of regional data into three slides a CRO can act on.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, commercial strategy, sales operations, revenue operations, or a comparable governance/commercial-excellence function.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
