Job summary

Pizza Hut in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Leader to shape global strategy across 15k+ restaurants and 100+ markets. You will partner with suppliers, franchisees, and regional teams to strengthen economics, resilience, and regional alignment.

You will drive category management, risk mitigation, sustainability, and long-term value through data-driven decision making, strong negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration at a worldwide scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain roles, ideally within food industry or related field.
• 5+ years of global/regional strategic category management/procurement.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills across a global business.
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication to gain buy-in at all levels.
• High level of intellectual curiosity and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Drive global category management incl. category strategy, supply assurance, spec alignment, capacity building, and cost savings/avoidance.
• Partner with regional supply chain teams and franchisees to drive participation, alignment, and adoption of regional and global sourcing strategies.
• Ensure supply continuity and operational resilience across a dynamic multi-country supply network, mitigating geopolitical, inflationary, commodity, logistics, and operational risks impacting the region.
• Build SCM capabilities & process excellence for world-class category management practices (cost modelling, commodity intelligence, supplier relationship management, technology enablers).
• Build compelling, data-driven business cases that improve franchisee economics, operational efficiency, and long-term system value.
• Own strategic supplier relationships and develop new supplier partnerships to drive competitive advantage and support LTOs/innovation.
• Drive governance, compliance, and adherence to Pizza Hut standards.
• Drive specification harmonization & optimization with regional brand teams.
• Champion sustainability initiatives within Pizza Hut supply chain and embed ESG goals into sourcing strategies.

This is a highly visible global role responsible for shaping Pizza Hut’s supply chain strategy to support the brand, which includes >15k restaurants across over 100 markets. This leader will play a pivotal role in Pizza Hut’s next chapter of growth through strengthening supplier partnerships, improving franchisee economics, increasing regional alignment, and driving sustainable competitive advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role serves as a strategic partner to supplier partners, franchisees, regional supply chain teams & cross-functional teams - driving procurement excellence, supply continuity, risk management, operational resilience, and long-term value creation across a highly complex franchise ecosystem.

• Drive global category management incl. category strategy, supply assurance, spec alignment, capacity building, and cost savings/avoidance
• Partner closely with regional supply chain teams and franchisees to drive participation, alignment, and adoption of regional and global sourcing strategies through strong commercial partnership, stakeholder influence, and value-based engagement
• Ensure supply continuity and operational resilience across a dynamic multi-country supply network, including proactively mitigating geopolitical, inflationary, commodity,logistics, and operational risksimpactingthe region
• Build SCM capabilities & process excellence to drive world-class category management practices (i.e. cost modelling, commodity intelligence, supplier relationship management, technology enablers, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years’ experience in supply chain roles, ideally within food industry or related field
• 5+ years’ experience of global / regional strategic category management / procurement
• Strong leadership skills; prepared to influence stakeholders, challenge status quo, and drive change
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners across the global business
• Strong communications (presentation, verbal, writing) and ability to gain buy-in & influence key stakeholders at all levels in a global organization
• High levelof intellectual curiosity
