General Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP) group. The successful candidate will support various activities including non-compartmental analysis (NCA), data visualization, table generation, quality control (QC), and data curation for our portfolio of small molecules and biologics. This role requires a strong STEM background and proficiency in data manipulation tools such as R and/or Phoenix WinNonlin (WNL). Experience with clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric approaches is desirable but not mandatory.

Essential Functions of the Job:

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to support activities for exploratory analyses, CSRs, Health Authority responses, and regulatory submissions:

• Non-Compartmental Analysis (NCA):

  • Perform NCA to characterize pharmacokinetics.
  • Interpret and report NCA results.

• Data Visualization and Table Generation:

  • Create visualizations and tables to communicate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in data presentation.

• Quality Control (QC) of Results:

  • Perform QC checks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Document QC processes and findings.

• Data Curation and Engineering:

  • Modify large datasets for analysis readiness.
  • Use tools like R and Phoenix WNL to streamline workflows.
  • Support assembly of relevant clinical pharmacology datasets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Assist with or lead internal training sessions periodically.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in R for data manipulation, visualization, and basic analysis is required.
• Experience with Phoenix WinNonlin for NCA is preferred.
• Desirable skills include NONMEM, Berkeley Madonna, Simcyp, GastroPlus, Matlab.
• Experience working with large datasets is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• B.S. with 4+ years, M.S. with 2+ years, or Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Data Sciences, Mathematics, or related STEM field.

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced timelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range: $87,400 - $122,400 annually
