Job summary

MGA Entertainment in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Associate Manager of Corporate Communications to plan and execute strategic communications, coordinate PR campaigns, and ensure cohesive messaging across internal and external stakeholders. You will support initiatives to boost brand awareness and engagement across channels.

The role reports to the VP of Corporate Communications and collaborates with senior team members, brand partners, and cross-functional units to drive impactful visibility for MGA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in communications and/or public relations, ideally in toy, consumer products, or entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute communications strategies and programs in partnership with brand, marketing, and digital teams to build visibility for MGA brands.
• Proactively manage relationships with media outlets, social media influencers, and others to secure high-quality media coverage.
• Assist in drafting press releases, pitches, media statements, and other materials.
• Collaborate with brand and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of communications with business objectives.
• Manage the earned influencer program with cross-functional teams to ensure brand-consistent outreach.
• Assist with campaigns for brand and product launches, including influencer and media outreach, mailers, events, and other tactics.
• Lead creation of media assets like press kits, presentations, and digital resources.
• Monitor coverage, prepare analytics, and provide insights for brand teams and senior management.
• Work with the PR agency on media tracking and reporting to keep leadership informed.
