Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs entry-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, and maintaining machine tools.
2. Provides support and backup for other department members as needed by leadership.
3. Ensures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
4. Completes on-the-job training for career development.
5. Updates records in the CMMS.
6. Contributes to continuous improvement activities, focusing on processes, results, and cost savings.
7. Follows all safety policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines, maintaining situational awareness and identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
