Confidential Employer, a well-established civil litigation and transactional law firm serving Okaloosa County since 1978, seeks a qualified attorney to provide direct representation across civil matters. You will build client relationships, perform thorough legal research, and draft high-quality pleadings while managing a busy caseload with a mentorship-driven team.

Active Florida Bar membership in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing (required).
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred; open to strong candidates with various backgrounds.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled legal counsel and direct representation across civil litigation and related practice areas.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, compassionate communication.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage an active caseload with precision, meeting deadlines while exceeding client expectations.
• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Partner with senior attorneys on complex matters and absorb mentorship opportunities across practice areas.
• Contribute to firm growth through relationship building and community involvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Shalimar, FL office in Okaloosa County.
