About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Legal Counsel to support our growing B2B SaaS business. Reporting to the CEO, you will handle contract negotiations, ensure compliance with telecom and privacy laws (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, Do-Not-Call, GDPR, CCPA), and develop scalable legal processes. The ideal candidate is a business-minded attorney with SaaS contracts expertise who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop legal infrastructure with templates and contract systems for growth.
2. Lead communications compliance across TCPA, DNC, CAN-SPAM, and state laws.
3. Streamline contract processes with large dealer groups, OEMs, and partners.
4. Advise product, sales, marketing, and customer operations on legal matters.
5. Support contract negotiations to accelerate deal closures.
6. Create policies and training to mitigate legal risks.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and licensed in the U.S.
• 4+ years in legal roles, preferably in SaaS or tech, with in-house and firm experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing enterprise contracts.
• Deep understanding of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and communication regulations (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, DNC).
• Experience with CLM and e-signature tools.
• Excellent communication, business judgment, and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Automotive or dealer client experience.
