This is a fully remote role outside court appearances. You must live in Connecticut and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Kansas.

There are no billable hours, and this is a strictly 40-hour per week role.

This position involves broad responsibilities and exposure to various legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.

You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes for clients by developing agreements, negotiating contracts, setting claims, and advocating in court.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of the firm's clients in KS.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, review & draft agreements, etc.
• Communicate with opposing parties to settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and other consumer law issues.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in KS (multi-state admission preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
