Job summary

Kayak, part of Booking Holdings, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer for our Marketing Enablement team in Kaunas. You will help maintain and improve the systems and tooling that power Kayak's marketing efforts while helping build a new generation of AI-driven workflows and systems.

This role requires 0–2 years of Java experience, familiarity with the Spring framework and SQL databases, and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience with Java, including internships or academic projects.
• Familiarity with Spring framework and SQL databases.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A willingness to learn, grow, and experiment in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing systems and tooling that support our marketing teams, with guidance from your teammates.
• Help build new AI-driven workflows and systems that streamline how our marketing teams work.
• Experiment with new AI tools and technologies to find better ways of solving problems.
• Collaborate with engineers and marketing stakeholders to deliver reliable, easy-to-use tools.
• Grow your engineering skills through code reviews, pairing, and mentorship.
