Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0–2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to identify and mitigate defects and risk.
• Able to multi-task on multiple system projects.
• Basic understanding of how software interplays with hardware interdependencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including off-shift/weekends and overtime.
• Physical requirements: Some lifting.
• Ability to communicate with developers to explain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recover mission system software loads for SIL integration and testing.
• Interface with supervisor, customer, Project Engineering, and PM to determine SIL support requirements and delivery schedules.
• Start JAMMS Ground System SIL equipment and load MRL software in an orderly fashion; reconfigure systems as required.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ongoing tests; troubleshoot and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Assist in planning periodic SIL upgrades to new wiring and configurations.
• Work with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets.
• Provide regular status updates to management and customers.
