Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, Texas is seeking a Senior Associate, Integration/Test Engineering to support the System Integration Lab. You will perform technical planning, integration, verification, and troubleshooting for complex hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with testing, integrating, and verifying software and/or hardware in a multi-domain mobile airborne data-link, video, and voice systems environment
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Aircraft communication system integration and communications ground/flight test support
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with configuration and integration of aircraft RF and satellite communications systems, or cryptographic equipment
• Secret clearance required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Job Desciption:

The Senior Associate Systems Integration Lab (SIL) Manager, Integration/Test Engineer (TE) performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and troubleshooting for total systems and or subsystems within a SIL. The Senior Associate TE is part of a team that supports the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne communication platforms.

Essential Functions:

• Understand physical architecture incorporating voice, video, and data capability across multiple security domains
• Review and evaluate electrical wiring diagrams to ensure design details trace to system requirements
• Understand test, integration, verification, and validation planning
• Perform effective verification test procedures ensuring system performance and capabilities meet system requirements
• Facilitate the seamless operation of a continuously running Systems Integration Laboratory

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with testing, integrating, and verifying software and/or hardware in a multi-domain mobile airborne data-link, video, and voice systems environment
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Aircraft communication system integration and communications ground/flight test support
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with configuration and integration of aircraft RF and satellite communications systems, or cryptographic equipment
• Secret clearance required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Working knowledge of LAN and VOIP protocols to include IP routing
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
• Knowledge of mission systems: EO/IR, Video, Networks, SI/EW, etc
• Model-based Systems Engineering and Simulation experience
• Troubleshooting and multi-level testing for RF applications
• Knowledge of requirement traceability methods and purpose
• Knowledge of the systems engineering trade study process
• Experience conducting verification testing
• Experience working with subcontractors and U.S. Government customers
• Experience developing, authoring, and implementing system test plans
• Engineering efforts involving FAA-certified general category aircraft
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills
• Translate the voice of the customer into system level requirements
• Write subsystem specifications based on system level requirements
• Develop and evaluate trade studies for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate alternative solutions and establish preliminary system designs
