The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson, Clarksville Campus, is seeking an Industrial Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics Instructor to deliver both theory and hands-on training for adult learners and high school students.
This full-time, on-site role requires a strong technical background across electronics, mechanical maintenance, PLCs, hydraulics and robotics, with a schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday. Salary is commensurate with CTAT guidelines and experience.
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a second full-time position of Industrial Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics Instructor for the Clarksville Campus. This is not a remote work position.
The Industrial Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics (IEM) Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students in conjunction with the current IEM instructor to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: manufacturing processes, industrial safety, blueprint reading, technical math, process automation, quality inspection, CAD/CAM, electronics, mechanical maintenance, electrical motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), instrumentation, computer software and computer hardware skills, AC/DC electrical, machine tool, and preventive maintenance. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports, and assist in recruiting new students and placement of graduates. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Work schedule is a minimum of 37.5 hours per week on a set schedule from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position.
$56,263-$67,517 per year ($28.85-$34.62 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and related experience.
