Job summary

Aberdeen Investments is seeking an Associate, Institutional Business Development to support a 2-3 person senior team in Institutional Sales, Consultant Relations, and Relationship Management. You will learn the territory, client base, and consultant networks while coordinating meetings and post-meeting follow-ups.

You will ensure data accuracy in Salesforce, leverage market intelligence tools, identify target audiences, and help coordinate RFPs and fee proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series 7 required.
• 2–5 years institutional asset management experience preferred.
• Understanding of institutional channels including public funds, corporate, endowment and foundation, Taft-Hartley and insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow senior Institutional Sales, Consultant Relations, and Relationship Management to understand territory, clients and consultants.
