Job summary

Fisher German LLP is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to join our Infrastructure Services division in the UK. The role covers advising on and managing infrastructure projects from local to national scale and providing land consultancy to clients across Utilities and Renewables sectors.

Based in a hybrid working environment, the successful candidate will manage projects from routing to completion, build strong professional relationships, and communicate with landowners and clients

Qualifications

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualifications (preferably).
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels.
• The ability to self-manage in order to meet deadlines.
• Experience in building strong, lasting relationships, networking and promoting the business.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to influence decisions.

About the role

We have an extremely exciting opportunity to come and join our Infrastructure Services division. The division assists in delivering projects to build a more sustainable and long-lasting Infrastructure for the UK on behalf of clients across of a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

We pride ourselves on understanding our clients' specific requirements and industry developments, as well as maintaining and developing our professional team and continuing the development of our systems to assist in high quality service delivery. The role will be varied, including project managing from routing, through to construction and completion, and providing consultancy services associated with benchmarking, procedures, and management systems. We are working on some of the largest and most significant Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects in the UK alongside the delivery of multiple framework contracts for clients across the Electricity, Gas, Water and Renewable Energy sectors. Our Bury St Edmunds team is going through a period of rapid growth and consists of 15 team members responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service delivery to our clients. We will shortly be expanding into additional office space and will welcome dynamic, hard working team players to support our future aspirations.

Bring Yourself to Work

Based in Bury St Edmunds, this is a permanent full-time position based on 37.5-hours (Monday - Friday) however we're fully open to discussing part-time part and flexible working requirements (minimum 30 hours per week). We are open to speaking to individuals from a broad range of surveying backgrounds & we also operate a hybrid working policy.
