Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a technical systems coordinator to manage daily ERP item setup and data maintenance. The role interfaces with Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Purchasing, and Routing to ensure accurate item records and efficient production flows.

The candidate will train staff on setup processes, assist with expediting customer orders, and help maintain standard operating procedures across the department. Travel to other Robinson facilities may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain purchased parts, manufactured parts, and raw materials, updating related documentation.
  • Train staff on item setup processes and criteria.
  • Support Process Engineering in expediting customer orders and assisting with order entry as needed.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Purchasing, and Routing to eliminate duplicate/old items and maintain item database.
  • Create routings for parts and assemblies.
  • Maintain department Standard Operating Procedures in the DCC.

Job Overview

Responsible for the daily management and oversight of company items. This is a technical system role which requires daily interactions with Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Routing, and other areas and requires a strong ability to understand ERP transactions that affect production flow.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)
  • Set up and maintain purchased parts, manufactured parts, and raw materials, updating related documentation.
  • Train staff on item setup processes and criteria.
  • Support Process Engineering in expediting customer orders and assisting with order entry as needed.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Purchasing, and Routing to eliminate duplicate/old items and maintain item database.
  • Create routings for parts and assemblies.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment required.

Travel Requirements

This position may require travel to other Robinson facilities.
