Founded in 2019 by Stephen and Ayesha Curry, Eat. Learn. Play. is working to transform the public-school experience for a generation of Oakland kids. Our Whole Child, Whole School approach invests in four priorities: closing the literacy gap, creating incredible spaces within schools, providing nutritious food for kids and families, and ensuring access to the joy of sports. Play. has served more than 35 million meals, placed over 1 million books in kids’ hands, transformed 24 Oakland schoolyards, and invested more than $100 million in Oakland students.
A new role on our growing Impact team, the Associate, Impact, will provide essential operational support to allow us to deepen our work in Oakland. Reporting to the Director, Impact Investments, this role keeps the team running smoothly, providing the scheduling, coordination, and administrative backbone that supports the team’s work. The Associate owns the collection of key metrics and deliverables laid out in each grant agreement, accurately enters them into our tracking systems and dashboards, and works across teams to ensure data needs are met.
