Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state.
  • 0–5 years of legal experience.
  • Immigration experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle family-based immigration and petitions.
  • Manage adjustment of status and consular processing.
  • Defend clients in removal and deportation cases.
  • Participate in immigration court proceedings.
  • Work on asylum and humanitarian cases.
  • Assist with DACA, TPS, U visas, and waivers.
  • Prepare for naturalization and citizenship processes.
  • Attend USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and affidavits.
  • Engage in client consultations and develop case strategies.
  • Prepare, file, and manage ongoing cases.
