Total Wine & More in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Associate II, Market Management to join our Market Management team. You will be involved with wine and beer buying and replenishment for stores in the Total Wine & More chain.

You will manage vendor relations and issues for your region and help establish process improvements. Reports to the Director, Market Management; strong communication and core accounting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Buying or Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with complex functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for multiple wine & spirit wholesalers in assigned market.
• Manage collection and maintenance of wholesalers’ cost data.
• Create Replenishment Orders and PO placement.
• Perform cost and deal analysis.
• Resolve Vendor Service Issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Respond to inquiries regarding supplier product availability and costs.
• Identify opportunities to drive sales through promotional activity related to in-store displays, retail reductions or advertising.
• Coordinate inter-departmentally to achieve results.
