Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks an Associate HR Generalist for an onsite role in a multi-shift environment. The individual will support HR operations, manage reporting, onboarding, and employee relations, and partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, plus HR experience and a PHR/SPHR licensure preference. Salary range is $58,000 to $87,000 annually with benefits including health insurance, life and disability, 401(k), and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HR reporting (headcount report, training records, disciplinary tracking and performance evaluations).
• Provide support activity for human resources including maintenance and reporting of employee and employee related information.
• Assist management in maintaining positive employee relations; coach employees and managers on HR policy interpretation and administration.
• Partner with HR management during local level investigations and exit interviews; represent the company at unemployment hearings.
• Liaise between Talent Acquisition and management in recruitment and candidate selection.
• Collaborate with HR management to determine training needs; analyze training requirements; support training program implementation.
• Conduct new employee onboarding process.
• Ensure consistency in job evaluations and compensation programs; aid wage administration to ensure pay equity.
• Audit and maintain current work authorizations; support leave of absence process with management.
• Assist with Worker’s Compensation administration and ensure timely return-to-work.
• Maintain employee paperwork and personnel files.

THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE MONDAY - FRIDAY THAT REQUIRES FLEXIBILITY FOR A MULTIPLE SHIFT OPERATION

Under supervision, the Associate HR Generalist provides guidance and solutions on human resources operational issues. In addition, this individual supports HR and management in delivery of HR services. The Associate HRG ensures the organization's current HR requirements are met and the HR strategy is implemented effectively. The Associate HR Generalist also serves as contact for employees and answers questions regarding HR policies and procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain HR reporting (headcount report, training records, disciplinary tracking and performance evaluations).
• Provide support activity for human resources including the maintenance and reporting of employee and employee related information.
• Assist management in maintaining positive employee relations. Coach employees and managers on correct interpretation and administration of Company HR policy.
• Partner with HR management when conducting local level investigations and resolving team member issues. Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management. Represent the company, when needed, at unemployment hearings.
• Liaison between Talent Acquisition and management in the recruitment and selection of candidates.
• Work with HR management and managers to determine training needs. Compile data and analyze past and current year training requirements. Support implementation of training programs.
• Conduct new employee on-boarding process.
• Ensure internal consistency and worth in administering job evaluations and compensation programs. Facilitate organization development and job evaluation processes. Assist local managers with salary and wage administration to ensure pay consistency and equity.
• Audit and maintain current work authorizations.
• Support the leave of absence process in partnership with corporate Leave of Absence team and management to include team member accommodations, communication, etc.
• Assist managers with administration of Worker’s Compensation policies and procedures. Take lead role in ensuring that employees are returned to work as soon as possible.
• Maintain employee paperwork and personnel files.

The Anticipated Salary Range For This Position:

$58,000.00 - $87,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
