1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking an HR Associate Business Partner in New York (Jericho) to support the employee lifecycle and build partnership capabilities.

You will work with HR Business Partners, managers and employees to deliver programs, ensure compliance, and promote a positive experience. Hybrid role combining operational execution with consultative support across employee relations, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Broad support across the employee lifecycle and partnership building.
• Guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support for employee relations, performance management, onboarding and development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contact for employees and supervisors on HR policies and programs.
• Build trusted relationships with client groups and provide HR guidance.
• Escalate complex employee relations issues and assist with documentation and follow-up.
• Support routine employee relations matters and ensure fair policy application.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers for recruiting and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire integration; help managers create onboarding experiences.
• Support managers through goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
• Coordinate leadership and employee development programs and promote learning resources.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, internships, mentoring, and culture-building activities.
• Manage compensation discussions and relate them to internal equity and policy.
