Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Associate Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer in Berkeley, MO, to join Flight Systems Engineering. You will develop GNC models, validate simulations, and integrate control laws for the T-7A Red Hawk project.

Responsibilities include modeling, flight test support, and collaborating with software teams to ensure required performance. A BS in engineering and 2+ years of experience are required; MS degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with system and component modeling and real-time implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, define and document GNC requirements and ensure traceability from system to component level.
• Develop and refine a nonlinear 6-DOF simulation model using multiphysics data.
• Support design of flight control laws to meet performance targets.
• Perform model validation against test data to improve simulation accuracy.
• Work with flight simulation and VMS software engineers to integrate control laws.
• Support flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing and flight testing.
• Participate in design reviews and documentation for delivery.
