Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an Associate GIS Consultant to join our DTS team in the Albuquerque, NM area, with potential offices in Denver or Roseville. You will be a strong independent contributor in geospatial data management, spatial analysis, cartography, and GIS solution delivery.

You have a Master of GIS or similar training and can apply sound technical judgment across a range of projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with GIS team, estimating effort, developing GIS solutions, and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in GIS or Geography or equivalent with experience.
• 2+ years of professional GIS experience with independent work.
• Advanced ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise skills.
• Experience with spatial analysis including vector and raster workflows.
• Python for geospatial process automation.
• Arcade in ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Dashboards, Web Maps, etc.
• Relational databases GIS data management (PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server).
• Knowledge of open-source GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GIS team to deliver complex geospatial solutions.
• Estimate level of effort with project managers and leads.
• Develop GIS solutions as assigned.
• Provide clear task status updates on scrum calls.
• Be polite and responsive to client requests.
• Learn new technologies quickly.
