Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and advises on contracts involving software licenses, data use and protection, IP licenses, purchases and professional services.
• Advises University leaders on governance matters and contractual arrangements with non-profit organizations; ensures compliance with policies and laws for a public institution.
• Educates and trains University community members about legal issues and coordinates legal services across departments; supervises staff and outside counsel as needed.
