Job summary

Our client, a leader in the LNG space, seeks an Associate General Counsel to advise on drafting and negotiating EPC, procurement and services agreements for export facilities and pipelines, and to support corporate matters. Location can be Houston or Washington, DC area.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to contribute to some of the largest energy infrastructure projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of experience at a top law firm and in-house handling construction and procurement agreements for large energy projects.
• Experience drafting and negotiating EPC, procurement contracts, purchase orders, and services agreements.
• Strong academic record from top law schools.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and negotiate complex EPC and procurement agreements supporting LNG facilities and pipelines.
• Assist with corporate and transactional matters as needed.

Our client, a leader in the LNG space, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to advise the company on drafting and negotiating a wide range of engineering, procurement and construction agreements, procurement contracts, purchase orders and services agreements to support the development, design, engineering, procurement and construction of export facilities and associated natural gas pipelines, as well as assist with other corporate and transactional matters.This role could be located either in Houston or the Washington, DC area.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to guide and contribute to some of the largest and most-capital intensive energy infrastructure projects worldwide.

Applicants must have the following qualifications to be considered:

• Seven to fifteen years of experience working at a large law firm and in house, with experience drafting and negotiating construction, procurement and similar agreements for large scale energy projects, and preferably for LNG facilities.
