Zusammenfassung

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate General Counsel and Transactional Counsel to support Mt. Logan’s third‑party capital and strategic transactions. This hybrid role can be based in Warren, NJ or New York City, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

You will advise on insurance and reinsurance transactions, capital markets activity, and complex corporate matters, coordinate with outside counsel, and provide timely legal guidance to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of law firm or in-house experience
• Experience in complex insurance, corporate and/or reinsurance transactions
• Admitted to NJ, NY or other US state bar in good standing

Aufgaben

• Counsel Mt. Logan third-party capital management including ILS offerings and collateralized reinsurance vehicles
• Advise on reinsurance-related aspects of strategic transactions and capital markets activities
• Provide technical guidance and oversight on legal advice to Mt. Logan personnel
• Prepare/review key ILS transactions and related documents
• Attend meetings and communicate with Mt. Logan management
• Review and manage outside counsel process
• Support development of legal policy and procedures
• Undertake legal research and analysis
• Prepare monthly reporting and quarterly reviews
• Manage and partner with outside counsel for high-quality work
• Make strategic decisions with focus on big picture
• Support Everest Bermuda strategic initiatives
