Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate General Counsel and Transactional Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance across third-party capital management, ILS offerings and reinsurance transactions.

The role reports to the SVP and offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Warren, NJ or New York City, with three days on-site and two remote. The candidate will manage outside counsel, oversee due diligence, and advise on M&A, insurance and reinsurance matters, capital solutions, and

Qualifications

• 6+ years of law firm experience, or in-house with insurers/ reinsurers.
• Strong negotiation, writing and communication skills; ability to advise on complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on third-party capital management and ILS offerings.
• Support MT Logan’s capital markets transactions and reinsurance-related deals.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage due diligence and transactional support.
• Draft and review legal documentation for M&A, insurance/reinsurance transactions and cross-functional projects.
