Job summary

JPMorganChase, in partnership with Campbell Global, seeks a Forester to supervise comprehensive forest management activities within Asset & Wealth Management. You will plan, supervise silviculture, harvesting and land-use projects to meet fiduciary and environmental standards.

You will contract with third parties, monitor budgets, ensure compliance with federal/state/local rules, and use GIS to map stand treatments and streams. This is a full-time on-site Louisiana role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forestry or related field with relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook; GIS familiarity preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in rough terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contract third parties for harvesting, silviculture, and road work; oversee bids and compliance.
• Implement policies to ensure high quality while controlling costs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and standards (SFI, FSC).
• Use GIS to update maps for stand treatments, boundaries and stream locations.
• Monitor budgets and participate in quarterly budgeting and forecasts.
• Represent Campbell Global and maintain relationships with contractors and agencies.
