Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in earth science, forestry or related field.
• Typically two+ years in tree trimming, arborist work, or related field including vendor management and project management.
• ISA Arborist certification required at hire; ISA Certified Utility Arborist and Oregon pesticide certifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety audits and analyzes risks to prioritize jobs.
• Plans vegetation clearance activities and schedules work assignments.
• Reviews contractor performance and monitors productivity against the scope of work.
• Represents Forestry to contractors and coordinates herbicide applications with the transmission team.
• Coordinates with line operations and city/county/state agencies on vegetation clearance.
• Ensures compliance with standards, regulations and agreements.
