Paragon Forensics seeks an Accident Reconstruction Expert – Associate Level in Laguna Hills, CA. The role centers on technical review and analysis of forensic cases for personal injury claims, including inspections and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will design, implement, and publish research relevant to the industry. The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree with strong analytical skills, can handle a high case load, and communicates clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Ability to handle a high case load and short deadlines.
• Effective management of time and support staff
• Strong reading comprehension and written/verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

• Analyze motor vehicle incidents to assess liability and impact; cases include trucks, motorcycles, pedestrians, bicycles.
• Conduct site and vehicle inspections; photograph, measure, 3D laser scan, obtain data.
• Review and summarize depositions and documents to reconstruct collisions.
• Design, implement, analyze, and publish novel research relevant to accident reconstruction.
• Perform photogrammetry and video analysis to assess spatial and dynamic conditions.
• Run collision reconstruction simulations to visualize events.
