Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition performs a variety of diet office tasks, which relate to the transfer of information concerning patient diets, meal selections, preferences and complaints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Food service experience preferred
• Able to follow written directions and record information using high school level literacy skills
• Visual and auditory acuity
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing
• Ability to work outdoors in extremes of heat and cold
• Some computer knowledge preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information and to interface with nursing staff, patients, and employees
• Must have an understanding of weights and measures
• Must be able to relay/follow written and verbal instructions
• Visual and manual dexterity required
