United Integrated Services (UIS) is hiring an Associate Engineer – Fire Protection to review designs, coordinate schedules, and manage installation and testing of fire protection systems in semiconductor facilities. The role emphasizes learning NFPA, IBC, IFC standards and hands‑on exposure to SprinkLER, VESDA, BDA, and EST systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 0–1+ years of experience in fire protection engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software and design tools.
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards, IBC, IFC, and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and documentation for fire protection systems.
• Assist hydraulic calculations and system performance verification.
• Support selection of equipment and materials per project requirements and budget.
• Participate in fire hazard and risk assessments and learn industry codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
