WesBanco, Inc. invites applications for an Associate Financial Planner to support the delivery of financial planning services across Wealth Management. This developmental role aims to build experience, technical knowledge and client interaction skills, progressing toward CFP certification.

As you gain proficiency, you will develop expertise in planning software, participate in client meetings, and contribute to growth of the planning program in collaboration with Advisors and Private Bankers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Business or related major preferred.
• Minimum of one year in financial planning, wealth management, banking or related field preferred.
• Internship or entry level experience in financial services preferred.
• Experience with financial planning concepts, client service or investment products is preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Demonstrated commitment to obtaining CFP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior financial planners in preparing, analyzing and presenting financial plans for clients.
• Attend client meetings to observe planning discussions and support follow-up activities.
• Utilize financial planning software to generate reports and documentation under guidance.
• Support Advisors and Private Bankers by reviewing financial plans and identifying issues.
• Promote awareness and usage of the financial planning program within business workflows.
• Identify clients who may benefit from financial planning services in partnership with Advisors.
