WesBanco, Inc. in Pittsburgh area seeks an Associate Financial Planner to support delivery of financial planning services across Wealth Management.

This developmental role builds experience, technical knowledge, and CFP progression toward certification, with work in planning software and client meetings. The position develops expertise in creating customized client strategies, partnering with Advisors and Private Bankers, and contributing to program growth while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Business or related major preferred.
• Minimum of one year in financial planning, wealth management, banking or a related field preferred.
• Internship or entry level experience in financial services preferred.
• Experience with financial planning concepts, client service or investment products is preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Demonstrated commitment to CFP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior financial planners in preparing, analyzing and presenting financial plans.
• Attend client meetings to observe planning discussions and document key information.
• Use financial planning software to generate accurate client-ready reports.
• Support Advisors by reviewing plans and escalating findings as appropriate.
• Promote integration of the financial planning program into business workflows.
• Partner with business teams to identify clients who may benefit from planning services.
• Provide training support on referral processes and client needs.
• Participate in community events and seminars to raise awareness.
• Deepen knowledge of planning concepts across investments, retirement, tax, estate planning.
