Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business or related major preferred.
• At least one year in financial planning, wealth management, banking or related field.
• Pursuing CFP certification encouraged.
• Experience with financial planning concepts and client service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to learn banking software.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior planners with preparation, analysis and presentation of financial plans.
• Attend client meetings and document key information.
• Generate reports using financial planning software.
• Review plans with advisors and identify client issues.
• Support integration of planning services into workflows.
• Help identify clients who may benefit from planning.
• Support staff training on referral processes.
• Participate in community events and seminars.
• Deepen knowledge in investments, retirement, tax and estate planning.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements.
