Edelman Financial Engines is seeking an Associate Financial Planner to assist Financial Planners and support client happiness while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

The role requires 1–3 years in financial services, a FINRA Series 65, and a bachelor’s in business or finance. CFP preferred; MS Office skills are essential. Base pay is market-based with a bonus structure and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in financial services, broker/dealer or RIA environment.
• FINRA Series 65 required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or equivalent.
• CFP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs financial planning analyses for clients including retirement, investments, estate, tax, education funding, real estate, and risk management needs.
• Prepares presentations, research, and supporting materials for client meetings and reviews.
• Conducts assessments of evolving client needs to uncover opportunities.
• Provides reports including distributions, performance, billing, and tax consequences.
• Calculates distributions, income needs, tax consequences, and contributions/withdrawals.
• Maintains high-level client contact to strengthen relationships.
• Keeps current on industry trends and products.
